Memorable Moments:
2007's World Adventure Race Championships in Scotland (with team The North Face!). Day 2 involved a sea kayak crossing from Rum to the mainland. One of our boats got holed in the mess at the start, so we set off 2hrs behind the race. Meanwhile the calm sea had blown up into a force 6 across our beam - 26km of terror without food or drink as if we'd gone in there was no safety back-up (it was too rough for the safety boat which had gone in).
The same night we were skimming up Loch Nevis with the full moon lighting our way and a perfectly reflected silhouette of the Knoydart hills beside us. It doesn't get much better.
